| Pendency of examination is counted by month. The pendency of examination of invention patent refers to the time between the data on which the substantive examination is launched and the data on which the case is concluded. The pendency of examination for a specific year refers to the average of all pendency of examination for all applications concluded in that year. Application for utility model and design follow the preliminary examination mechanism, and thus has a shorter pendency, from the data of filing. |
